This is the written, unpublished memoir of Sgt Roy Shilton a Marine Engineer in the Royal Army Service Corps.  He tells about his time in Egypt, Scotland and Borneo as well as several other experiences. Some of the names he mentions will be familiar from other Podcasts within this series, such as Biff and Mick Fricker.

Roy served as Crew with the Fricker Brothers on the Suez Canal during the crisis. This episode is read from his personal written account of his career and service both at home and abroad. He too spent time in St Kilda.
